it’s quite simple. Paired t-test includes two samples that consists of the same test subjects. Whereas unpaired T-test includes two samples with different test subjects.

The paired t-test is considered to be equal to a one-sample t-test and unpaired two-sample t-test. Assume that you want to study how drinking an energy drink increases heart rate.  In paired test measures the heart rate of 5 people before and after they drink energy drinks. Here there exist the same samples with the same test subjects. A therefore paired t-test is conducted. In unpaired t-test, measure the heart rate of people before they drink energy drinks and then measure the heart rate of different groups of people after they drink energy drinks.
