Can I use T-test in my study?

Dissertation

I am doing non-probability sampling in my study. Can I use T-test for it? I have two groups in my study coming from non-probability sampling, so, can I test the hypothesis using T-test?

The reliability of the data depends on how data is distributed. If the data in your study is independently, identically and normally distributed, only then, the hypothesis could be tested using T-test.
