Guidelines to write discussion chapter

I want to write a discussion chapter in scientific manuscript. Although I know the basic guidelines I’m not sure as to what needs to be included in this chapter. Any tips?

A discussion section should not just be a summary of the results. You should highlight and discuss what is already known in your field of study. Next provide an explanation as to why your research identified these differences. Third, consider how your results extend knowledge about the field.

Strong discussion section should be to critically analyze and interpret the findings of your study. Write a paragraph that describes the importance of your study. Next provide with critical analysis of your findings, followed by additionals findings, limitations of your study, and finally major impact of your study.
