As I prepare for the PhD interview, my keen interest is geared toward incorporating interdisciplinary components in my research work. How will a person be able to collaborate across disciplines effectively and what challenges should they expect?

Interdisciplinary research is commendable. To establish collaboration, find common ground and communicate well with experts from different disciplines. Be open to embrace different points of view, be prepared for modifying your research due to the differences in terminologies used. Illustrate how this multidisciplinary approach will deepen and increase the effect of your research.
