How to calculate sample size

Dissertation

Calculating the sample size was always my weakness even in my second PhD I am balled up with this method. I have forgotten how did I calculated the sample size in my first PhD. So, I want you guys to help me with the same.

There are so many options for sample size calculation on google. Sample size depends on the type of data or study design. The sample size is calculated using the following formula: Here n is the required sample size.

The sample size is calculated on the basis of the variable and the population. Frist, you need to arrange the population of your study according to the variable, and then you can calculate the sample size. You can use standard formula under each strata based on some specific sampling design.
