How to remove plagiarised text?

5 years ago in Plagiarism By Rekha Bajaj

While editing my thesis I found plagiarised content in a couple of chapters. I cannot submit plagiarised content to the review committee. What should I do now? Is there any way out?

Don’t worry. There is a way out. You can either rewrite the contents or use unplagiarised tools. If not take help from the proofreaders. I know a team who can help you with this. LINK

Rekha, the easiest way is to use paraphrasing tools. They will rewrite the entire content without even altering the original meaning of the content. I did the same when plagiarised content was found in my thesis.

Rekha, i don’t think paraphrasing tool is very efficient. It may not change the meaning, but many a time it does modify the technical terms. For example, the heat exchanger will be rewritten as warm exchanger which wouldn’t go well with your content. You can either cite the sources or maybe use the plagiarism removal tool. If you have included a quote, use quotations. These will solve your issue.
