Cover letter gives the first impression of your research paper. That is why you should take care while writing it. Demonstrate reliability and professionalism. If you are aware of the journal editor’s name, include the name. State the type of research paper (original paper, case study, etc.). Explain the research goals, key results, significance of your study, and limitations.

Keep the cover letter very concise and brief. Also, ensure not to include any unrelated information, complete sentence structures, editor’s name (if it is unknown), provide a replica of research information included within the research paper.
