Paper Publication

Hello, I have just completed my PhD in civil dept, and willing to publish my research paper. I want to know what points need to be considered to make the research paper exciting and of high quality?

To publish research papers, a proper abstract with a brief description of the work with little information of the outcome needs to be made. In the middle part, try to put figures with result graphs for easy understanding. The conclusion must include the detailed information of work. Try to make the entire paper limited to 6 pages including references.
