Second Year PhD Blues

6 years ago in Dissertation/Thesis By Raiman S

PhD

Hello Friends.
I am a second year student of PhD and I am also doing a part time job because of some family problems. Honestly, I don’t get time for my research after coming home. That’s why I have started feeling demotivated and also, there is no one to motivate me not even my supervisor, he is least bothered about my dissertation and one more thing my deadline is near, I only have 2 weeks and I need to complete my whole research
My problem is that now, I don’t know how to cope up with my research in such a short period of time.
I am writing in hope to feel better, wishing that someone could understand my situation and help me with it.

I understand that you are a person who accepts challenges and is certain to deal with circumstances but Ph. D. is not at all easy, it’s a groundbreaking opportunity. My piece of advice for you is that you should start working on your research quickly as you don’t have much time, I am saying this not because I want to scare you. Endeavour to hold yourself and invest more energy in finishing your research work. You can go to few conferences from there you will have an expert opinion.

The only solution to such feelings is that you should do things which you like the most like going to gym, chill with friends but yes don’t forget to work on your research side by side. Be positive!! Don’t panic and stay calm.

I think you need a consultant who can help you in every step while you work on your research. Your life is already so busy with your job and other personal works that you can’t concentrate on the research. I would suggest you to check out with some educational consultants who can help you out with your research. You can check out with http://www.thesishelpcenter.com/consulting.php
