Hi, I am persuing my PhD in thermal Enginnering and I am presently working on heat reduction technique for automotive application. I want some suggessions on which softwares are more user friendly to carry out the material analysis for the same?

For material analysis in thermal engineering the most efficient and user friendly softwares are ANSYS and GAMBIT. In this software, you can easily apply any materials parameters with there properties. The main advantage of using this software is you can get the thermal images with video which can help in better understanding for presentation.
