STAAD Pro vs SAFE

5 years ago in Software Analysis By Lisa Hedgewell

I don’t have much knowledge about software used in civil engineering. All I know is about AutoCad and NavisWork. For structural analysis purpose should I use STAAD Pro or SAFE software? Is there any other software that can be used for the same?

As far as I know SAFE is mostly used for designing concrete floors and foundation slab systems. Am not sure if you can use this tool for structural analysis purposes.

You cannot use SAFE for structural analysis purposes. You have to make use of STAAD Pro only. This software features ease of use and has an array of essential tools that are required for accomplishing analytical process on various structures.

Yes you are right Payal. STAAD PRO software is used for analysis of a structure. This tool is used in the designing of concrete, aluminum, timber, and cold-formed steel. It is also used in designing culverts, tunnels, piles, bridges and provides flexible modeling environment, & fluent data collaboration.
