The sample size for my study

Sample

In my research, I need to collect data from Retailers and Consumers. It was easy to decide the population for my research, but I am facing a lot of problems while determining the sample size for my study. I am confused about what my sample size should be, Do I just select a few no. of retailers and consumers who could fulfill the criteria or is there a systematic way to be followed? Kindly help!

It’s important that you select the correct sample size for your study as they will represent your population. If you choose your sample size randomly, you will end up doing something which is entirely different from what your study is all about. So the decision of sample size should be well thought.

No no, don’t randomly select any sample size as it is an important decision for your research. You can also look for sample size calculators online.
