Thematic analysis

Good afternoon, everybody, I am in the 2nd year of my PhD and want to do a thematic analysis in my research suggested by my supervisor. But, the problem is that I don’t have enough knowledge to employ it in my study.
I want to learn about thematic analysis from scratch. Can someone help me with me the same?

If you want to analyse the qualitative data only then, it is appropriate to use thematic analysis. In this type of analysis, specific patterns or themes within the data sets are examined. There are various approaches available for doing this kind of analysis. You will easily get them online.

Hey, if you just want to do analysis then why don’t you use NVivo. I am attaching a link to a youtube video from which you will have an idea about the process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypo6lrpwDZ85dDeM
