What simulator would you recommend for learning, testing controls, or developing applications for a robotic arm?

Yes, excellent simulators include Gazebo (highly realistic, integrates with ROS), CoppeliaSim (formerly V-REP, user-friendly with built-in tools), and PyBullet (Python-based, great for machine learning). MATLAB with its Robotics Toolbox is also a strong academic choice.
