Footnotes should be at the end of the page where the reference occurs. Whereas endnotes goes on a separate page after the body of the paper. Both use the same formatting guidelines. Within the text, include note number at the end of the sentences The note number should be included after all other punctuation. Put the word Notes at the top of the page with your endnotes. Use Times/Times New Roman 10 point font. Indent the first line of each note. Look at shortened form examples more than once. Separate the two citations with a semicolon to cite multiple sources in a single note..

Number the footnotes consecutively throughout the paper. Footnote number should be inserted only after the punctuation, the first time you cite a source, include a full citation. Cite authors’ names exactly as they appear in the texts. Replace first names with initials only if the names doesn’t appear this way on the title page of the source. If no author is listed, then organize the entry by title.
