Currently, the Universities demand you to follow the rules of APA 6th edition. Some of the general guidelines of 6th edition of APA style are: A 1-inch margin is needed on all sides. The header must be right-justified and should include the title of your proposal on the left side of the page and page number on the right side. The running header must start from the cover page and must not exceed more than 50 characters. APA style requires a Times New Roman style and font size is standard 12 and each word should have double-space.

The guidelines to be followed while writing each section are as follows: 1) Abstract The abstract must be followed by the title page and should consists of 250 words and not more than that. 2) Introduction Introduction section containing the idea behind your research can extend up to three pages. 3) Literature review You should analyse the literature in your field of study to gain an in-depth understanding of the gap between the studies and include a structure in your study in relation to existing knowledge in your field of study. This section can extend upto 7 pages. 4) Research methodology This section should include the research methods (qualitative/quantitative) you have used in your study, procedure followed to conduct the study and tools used for the same. Do not extend this section more than 5 pages.
