Deeksha, as an academic writer, you will be expected to include an analytical overview of the literature published on area of research. If the reader knows less than you about your research topic, then the purpose is instructional. Literature review chapter is supposed to 1.Place the original work in the context of existing literature. 2.Interpret the critical issues surrounding your research topic. 3.Identify unique ways to interpret and highlight gaps in previous research. 4.Determine which literature source makes a significant contribution to your research topic.
