Most ideal approach to study location data?


Hey everyone, i am a PhD student doing statistical analysis. I have gathered location data for numerous people’s decisions on revenue and operations management at Indian railways.What is the most ideal approach to analyse the location data regardless of whether people’ perspective?
Please help!

Hi, I can’t understand your question is it about individuals’ clustered choices or not (some locations are chosen more than others)? In that case, you might use some “point pattern analysis” statistics. If it is significant, then individuals’ choices are clustered. The second step would be to identify the specific locations where your data are clustered. Other statistics assessing spatial clustering also exist such as the Geary’s C etc. There are many free R packages for spatial analysis (sp, spatstat, etc.) Let me know if you need more help.
