Difference between the literature review, theoretical & conceptual analysis

Statistics data for XPS measurements
Hello,
I’m looking for a help regarding estimations of statistics data for the XPS measurements.
My question is that is this a good approach. I have prepared a deconvolution of C1s and N1s core-level spectra in the CasaXPS software for four samples according to the literature. After tips are correctly matched, I used a Monte-Carlo method with N=400 simulations for each element and sample. I have done this much now but can’t say if this approach is good, but I have no distinct plan to mathematically determine the error while fitting the deconvoluted XPS spectra.
Thank you for your assistant and information in advance.
