Studying methodology in comparative study in biology

I’m doing a comparative study on biology education. That consisting of three main categories: curriculum general orientations, learning and teaching management, and biology education programs. Now, I would like to read about the methodology in a comparative study. Can anyone share the best theoretical framework references with me.

Greetings, Methodology is a fraught issue in much of the biology education area. My interest has come over in combining the different types of study to provide a grand picture of learning situation. Together with a few colleagues, I have written a few papers discussing theoretical and methodological considerations in learning situation and a few other factors. One issue is the choice of approach should match the type of question that you would like to answer. Large scale statistical studies can be used to evaluate innovation, but we have certain limitations. In the comparative study situation, it is important to know what you want to compare about learning process beyond the structural analysis of curriculum.

Dear  I would like to add some approaches that you can use the quasi – experimental approach with the groups of traditional method or with a new method & then compare them. If you can read the quasi – experimental approaches in the research books, then it’ll help you in designing this research. Or else, there’s another alternative for your conditions. You can also do a cohort approach and evaluate the curriculum outcome with using past references, until now in different variable that you want and have access to the report, that might sound interesting when you say.
