The temperature required for the recrystallization is a characteristic of metal but mainly depends on many factors and the degree of deformation. In the process of the recrystallisation, the new crystals grow in an oriented arrangement. The impact of foreign atoms in a robust solution on the rate of recrystallisation is apparent at very concentrations. The change in recrystallisation temperature depends upon the nature of a solute atom.

Sonali, there is metallurgical effect as well due to recrystallization annealing. During recrystallization anneal, new grains are formed in a cold-worked metal. New grains have reduced number of dislocations when compared to that of cold-worked metal.

Impact of recrystallization temperature on metals is different for Fe3Al based alloy, aluminium, iron, brass to name a few. You can go through https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/0956716X93904493,https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1006706X13601648 for more details.

Recrystallization is a nucleation and growth oriented process as initiated by the formation of nuclei of strain-free grains that grow by migration of its high angle boundaries. The growth of strain-free crystals are found to continue in all directions till there is an impingement occurring from the surrounding crystals. Recrystallization is temperature and time dependent; being a thermally activated process, also the process is affected by the amount of deformation. The following observations can be made in any form of recrystallization process, which may help to understand its effect on the process of alloying: 1. Minimum amount of deformation is needed to effect recrystallization at a particular point of temperature. 2. Time required for completing recrystallization increases with the lowering in temperature of recrystallization. 3. With the increase in the deformation percent, the recrystallization temperature is decreased. 4. Recrystallized grain size becomes quiet small with larger percentage of deformation at a particular temperature. 5. New strain-free grains don’t grow into the deformed formed of grains. 6. A metal or alloy with fine initial grain creates smaller form of recrystallized grain. The recrystallization kinetics in metals and alloys are shown with typical sigmoidal behavior.
