My mentor is a big problem

Hey, from the very beginning I was interested in finance and always wanted to continue with it even in my PhD. But my mentor is forcing me to work on HR related topic in my PhD because he has done his specialisation in HR. I am not interested in HR, but that selfish person is not listening to me. Please help me! What should I do?

I think you should work on HR related topic as your mentor has done his specialisation in HR. So, he would be able to guide you more accurately. It would be beneficial for you only. So, my suggestion for you would be, go with the flow.
