PhD Data

I want to extrapolate patterns from the data I have collected. Among various data mining which one should I use? Any suggestions?

I would suggest you to use association technique. This technique is the most popular approach among the data analysts. Here the pattern will be determined based on the relationship between the items in the same transaction. An advantage of this technique is that association can exist between any kind of attributes.

Association technique is good. But it is wise to use decision tree technique data mining technique.This is of using this technique is the easiest one, is easy to comprehend & does not require any domain knowledge.

As per my opinion prediction is the most valuable data mining technique. This is because it is used to project the types of data you will witness in the future
