Benefits of using AMOS for data analysis

I was using MS Excel for data analysis purpose and my friend suggested me to use AMOS instead of Excel. What are the benefits of using AMOS for data analysis?

AMOS can read data and also interpret data from different sources including MS Excel and SPSS databases. The user interfaces of AMOS enables you to generate precise models with the datasets. Using these models, you can build attitudinal patterns of data interpretation. AMOS also enables you to access, deliver and estimate the models that is relevant to the dataset of the study.

Your friend has given the right suggestion. AMOS is best for data analysis as it consists of functions of estimation in case of data missing. Also it lets you create multiple data sets just by using the regression imputation methods.
