Developing survey questionnaire

Questionnaire

My research field is sociology. I want to design a survey questionnaire. Is there anybody who has designed a questionnaire for survey in sociology?

Hi aarna. My research is psychology. I had designed a questionnaire. I didn’t include unnecessary questions. My questionnaire consisted only 5-6 questions. It’s always better to keep the questionnaire short.

I agree with mukesh. Do not include too many questions in your survey questionnaire. Respondents will be bored if they will have to answer too many questions. If this happens your survey will remain incomplete. Hence it is always better to include necessary, short and brief questions. If required you can categorize the questions.

Hi aarna. It would be better if you include instructions as well. And also avoid asking personal questions. It can easily offend the respondents.
