How to increase the reliability of the questionnaire?

I tested the pilot study conducted in my research through SPSS, and found that there are many negative values in the study. My question from all of you is, what is the procedure to remove the negative values? And how to increase the reliability of the questionnaire?

I think you should implement factor analysis in your paper. You can also use rotational technique named as Varimax. Many PhD scholars use it, and it will help in your situation to reduce the number of the principal components. This process will undoubtedly increase reliability.

Have you examined the correlation matrix? If not, then, first, you should do that. While examining the correlation matrix, check whether all your items have positive correlations with each other or not. Also, make sure that none of your questions are “reversed.” While running SPSS use “alpha if item deleted” option. It will tell you what your alpha would be if you omitted a particular variable. If, there is any need for deleting things, then, do an Exploratory Factor Analysis.
