Is there any other software then Nvivo?

Earlier, I used Nvivo in my study, but now, I have realised that it doesn’t suit me. According to me, it is not at all user-friendly and has a prolonged upgrading system. Does anyone have any idea of the software other than Nvivo?

I used RQDA package when I was doing PhD. It was actually easy to use, and also, have many rich features. It would be a good suggestion to give to anybody.

I would suggest you choose the software according to the purpose you are aiming at, as every software has its particular function to perform. I am not saying that they are not good, but maybe not good for your project.  I personally feel that NVivo is very user- friendly. You don’t need to have any particular skills to use it. You can learn how to use it from youtube also.

Automap is another software which is free, open-source and is capable of doing some powerful text manipulation. Refer to the link attached below: http://www.casos.cs.cmu.edu/projects/automap/ I have not used this software myself, but have heard about it from many of my friends. They all have praised it every time

When I was doing my PhD, I used Dedoose, and it is pretty good. It is user-friendly, and the best thing is that you pay on a monthly basis, So, with this, you pay for what you want. It also provides some tool for studies with the mixed methodology.
