Ethnography involves studying the behaviour and culture of the people by staying with them. Whereas phenomenology includes lengthy interviews.
Ethnography involves data collection by interacting with the community under study, analysing artifacts, documents pertaining to the culture. On the other hand, phenomenology involves data collection via semi-structured or unstructured interviews.
