Which Invetigation method can help better in carrying out research for thermal management?

My research is based on thermal management, which investigation method should I choose to go ahead with the research?

Even though experimental investigations are reliable, it is always better to go with CFD solvers as there can be many technical difficulties while dealing with the experimental setup. The quality of the experimental setup affects the results. Sometimes the process can be expensive and time consuming according to different research problems. Analytical or theoretical approach can be accurate, but it can be applied only in limited number of problems which are usually formulated in an idealized way where many external factors have to be neglected. CFD approach also allows visualizing the solutions for better understanding. When it comes to thermal management or electronics cooling, CFD approach helps in understanding various heat flow characteristics which can be responsible for achieving desired results.
