Physics behind beacons

I’m asked to design a beacon using JAVA programming language. Can someone explain to me the physics behind beacons?

Hello. You have been given a good topic. Beacons are trending in the market and are used across the globe. Once you complete the research in this field you can easily build a career in this field. I don’t know the physics behind the beacons. All i know is that Beacons transmit data packets. They contain an ID with spatial data and a component that indicates the status of a beacon. And yeah also a URL that corresponds to data.

Hi nidhi. Beacon is a very tiny device. But it has a massive impact on advertising. A beacon has three major components – an ARM computer, a Bluetooth Smart connectivity module and batteries. The antenna attached to it transmits EMW.

Nithin, you haven’t clearly mentioned the physics behind beacon. I do agree that it has 3 components. But it is not just an antenna, the CPU of the ARM computer has an antenna that is attached to it. This broadcasts electromagnetic waves of a specific frequency.
