Kruskal Wallis test is an alternative test for one-way ANOVA test. This test tells you if there is any significant difference between the two groups. Some of the assumptions of this test are, the variable must have, 1.One independent variable with two or more independent groups. 2.Ordinal scale, interval scale or ratio scale dependent variables. 3.Observations must be independent. 4.Every group must have the same shape distributions.

This test is commonly used if you have three or maybe more than three levels. If you have two levels, consider using the Mann Whitney U Test.

Novi, according to me selection of statistical test doesn’t depend on the advantage of the test. It depends on your collected data and the objective of your study. If your sample size is small or your data is not normally distributed then you have to for this test. If data is large and it is normally distributed, go for ANOVA test.
