The purpose of descriptive research is to explain and validate your research hypothesis or research objectives of a specific group of people. The method to be used depends on your what exactly you require. Try talking to your guide. Maybe you will get clarity about it.

Wanosix, you can use observation method. There are two methods of observation methods. In-field and lab observation approaches. In-field observation method is all about viewing/ recording the behavior of an audience in the natural environment. Whereas lab observation is driven by the scientific method and the behavior of the audiences are recorded through controlled test environment.

Wanosix, if you want to conduct in-depth analysis of your target audience then go for case study method.

I agree with Emanuelly. You can go for case study or survey method that includes group interviews, individual interview etc.
