For heat exchanger tubes that varies with temperature you can make use of below mentioned steps to calculate the estimation factor. Take the mean of all the temperatures stored in the processing line by determining the average of the temperature. Inspect the condition of the fluid entering the line at approximately 300 degree celsius and leaving at around 280 degree celsius. Determine the physical properties and friction factors at the temperature of 290 degree celsius. Calculate the friction factor of the laminar flow or the turbulent flow in the case of the cooling liquid.

Sir, how is the link between heat transfer intensity and hydraulic resistance determined?

By Ashish Chaurasiya Answered 5 years ago

Utilising adjusted Reynolds similarity of heat and energy exchange we can decide the connection between heat exchange power and hydraulic resistance of plate heat exchangers channels.
