Is pelton and turgo turbine the same?

Is there any similarity between pelton turbine and turgo turbine? What is the % efficiency I can achieve if I use pelton turbine.

Turgo turbine is basically a development of pelton turbine. These can handle a higher flow rate than a similar-sized pelton turbine.

Amy, there are many similarities between pelton and turgo turbine. The major difference between them is only the position of water jet strikes.

Amy, the efficiency that can be achieved using pelton mainly depends on the type of system you use.

I agree with Rajshree. Normally you can achieve an efficiency of 95%. Incase you use with micro systems then you can achieve approximately 90%.
