Monomers and polymers in carbohydrates

I always had confusion regarding monomers and polymers present in carbohydrates. Anybody knows if carbohydrates consists monomers or polymers or both of them?

Carbohydrates indeed have monomers. However, they combine together to form polymer carbohydrate.

Carbohydrates are a polymer made up of monomers. Monomers of carbohydrates are monosaccharides and polymers are disaccharide and oligosaccharide (chains of three to nine monosaccharides).
