Research in HR field


I am planning to conduct a research in HR field, pertaining to employee motivation and factors contributing towards employee performance enhancement. Can someone suggest me some factors that impact employee performance? It would be a great help guys!

I’m glad you are planning to conduct research in HR field. Most companies today are struggling to maintain positive environment and provide motivation to employees to retain employees and increase job satisfaction. According to my point of view, positive communication and valuing individual contributions can motivate the employees & lead to increase in the productivity of company.

Research on ‘Factors contributing towards employee performance’ is gaining significance over past 5 years. As per my knowledge, both positive and negative factors impact the employees performance. Safety and job security, infrastructure, organisation culture, personal skills proves to be positive factors, while personal problem and health hinders the performance. Try and make a unique research only, already too much piling up here!

Why don’t you instead choose to conduct a survey among employees in MNCs or others, and see for yourself what are the factors that contribute to employee performance? That’ll be a good contribution to the pool of knowledge in the given field. An extensive empirical research work is always welcomed in the field.
