Nope. Fluid Mosaic model doesn’t allow rotation through the membrane but does allow lateral movement through the membrane.

Yes. Amy is absolutely correct. Only lateral movement is allowed through the membrane.

Agreed. Although the lateral diffusion of membrane components is a rapid process. The transition of a molecule from one membrane to the other is called flip-flop process. Tip: A phospholipid molecule takes 109 times to flip-flop across a membrane.
