Among RISA and Navisworks, which is a better software that can be used for structural modelling? Quick answers are appreciated.

Well, it totally depends on your study. If you want to create a general structure, then go for risa. This is the best 3D analysis and design tool and lets you create bridges, arenas, industrial structures, and many more. Benefit of using this tool is that it is quite fast, productive and accurate. It also comes with steel, concrete, cold-formed steel, aluminum, etc. design codes.

Yes you are right Prajwal. Selection of tools will usually depend on the nature of the study. Name, navisworks is used to review and share 3D modelling files. It is hardly used for designing purpose.

Yes, I agree with Prithvi. Navisworks is mostly used for sharing designs. Name, you can use Risa or STAAD pro. STAAD pro is considered to be the best structural designing software. It also consists of array of tools that can be used in your study.
