Advantages of tissue culture over traditional method

Plant tissue culture has several advantages over traditional method. Even I had used tissue culture method for my study. Some of the benefits are: 1.Production of copies of plants that produce particularly fruits, flowers or have other desirable traits. 2. Generation of multiple plants in the absence of either seeds or may be necessary pollinators to produce seeds. 3. quickly produces mature plants. 4. Generation of plants in sterile containers with reduced chances of transmitting pests, diseases, and pathogens 5.Regeneration of whole plants from plant cells.

Yes, go with plant tissue culture method. This approach has several advantages such as it is possible to achieve a large number of plants in short durations. Plants produced by this method will be genetically identical to that of the original plant. Many important food plants like banana, apple, etc., can be produced easily in large scale. Plants can be cultured & grown for chemical molecules like alkaloids and antibiotics.
