Pump to transfer energy to fluid

Which pump is used to transfer the energy to a fluid? Quick response is appreciated

Morgan, please explain your question in a clear manner. Did you mean transfer energy from a rotor to a fluid?

Cool. for this purpose we use a rotary pump. It works on the principle of fluid motion.

Can a centrifugal pump be used instead of rotary pump?

No you cannot replace rotary pump with centrifugal pump. In a rotary pump, the energy of a fluid can be sensed from the pressure and velocity of a fluid at the end of the pump. It is therefore a turbine in reverse order.
