What is Welch’s test?

Welch’s t-test is nothing but a variation of t-test that used when 2 samples have unequal variances. 
You should use this test when 2 samples to test if samples have equal variances.

A Welch’s t-test is simply a modification of t-test. It determines the significant difference between the two samples.
Instead, it adjusts/modifies the degrees of freedom
This test does not assume that variances are equal,
