Can RNA be stored at -20 degree C?

No, RNA is not stable at -20 degree celsius. For it to be stable you have to store it at -80 to 82 degree C.

Well you can use DEPC treated water to dissolve RNA and store it in -80C. 
But I think it is always better to generate the cDNA within a day and store it in -20C. 
cDNA would be more stable for storage that RNA.

I had dissolved RNA in purified RNAse free water and stored it at -80C. 
However, cDNA is more stable and can be stored at -20C. 
But normally we don’t transcribe the RNA in cDNA.
