You should provide complete details of the approaches used to collect the data. Outline the procedures, tools, and materials that were used to gather data and the crucial reason behind choosing those tools and procedures. For example, if you have quantitative methods, describe when, where, and how the experiment was conducted. How did you identify and choose the tool and what was the response rate and sample size.

If you have used qualitative research then explain how did you find and choose participants, number of participants in your study,  form of interview used (semi-structured, structured, unstructured) and how the interviews were recorded.

Depending on your study, in methodological approach portion explain the aim and how you addressed practical  or a theoretical research problem. Mention if you considered any ethical or philosophical aspects. And the reliability and validity of the research.
